Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how TruPorch Homes, LLC, doing business as Yankee Homes ("TruPorch," "we," or "us"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with this website and the inquiries, rental applications, and job applications initiated through it. By using the site, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you contact us, we collect the information you submit — such as your name, email address, phone number, the nature of your inquiry, and your message. When you schedule a showing, apply to rent a home, or apply for a role with us, we collect the information requested in those processes, which for rental applicants may include identity and contact details, current and prior residences, employment and income information, and supporting documentation, and for job candidates may include work history, education, assessment responses, and related materials.
Screening information, with your authorization. Where permitted by law and with any required authorization, we obtain rental-screening information — which may include credit, rental-history, and background information — through licensed consumer-reporting agencies.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting infrastructure collects limited technical information — such as IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited — through standard server logs, and we use privacy-focused, aggregate website analytics that do not use cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries and schedule showings; to receive, process, and evaluate rental applications under uniformly applied criteria; to establish and manage tenancies; to receive and evaluate job applications and administer hiring and training; to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website; to comply with legal obligations, including fair-housing and consumer-reporting laws; and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How we share information
We share personal information only as described here: with service providers that support our operations — including website hosting and analytics, a third-party form-delivery service that relays contact-form submissions to our email, scheduling and payment platforms, our hiring and assessment platform, and application-form providers — each permitted to use information only to perform services; with consumer-reporting agencies for authorized screening; with property owners whose homes we manage, to the extent necessary to process applications and administer tenancies; with professional advisers subject to confidentiality; for legal and compliance purposes, including responding to lawful requests and protecting rights and safety; and in connection with a corporate transaction, subject to this Policy.
Job applicants, including international candidates
If you apply for a role with us from outside the United States — including from the Philippines — the information you submit will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your home country. We use candidate information solely to evaluate applications, administer assessment and training, and manage any resulting engagement, and we retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and legal compliance. We never charge candidates a fee, and we never ask candidates for payment information at any stage.
Cookies and analytics
We keep tracking minimal. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. The site uses strictly necessary technologies to serve and secure pages, and aggregate analytics to understand overall usage. Third-party services you choose to use — such as scheduling, forms, payment, or embedded video — may set their own cookies under their own policies once you interact with them.
Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above — including the duration of an application process or tenancy and any period required by fair-housing, consumer-reporting, tax, or other applicable law — after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Data security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit to this site and access limited to personnel who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below, subject to legal retention requirements. Depending on where you reside, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will honor valid requests as required by the laws that apply to you, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any such right.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Rental and job applications are accepted from adults only. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party sites
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services linked from this site — including scheduling, forms, payment, video, and hiring platforms — which operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the policies of any service you use.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
