TruPorch Academy · Virtual Assistants

Made, not hired.

Every TruPorch virtual assistant earns their wings through the Academy — a paid, 90-day metamorphosis of hands-on coaching, real practice, and a cohort that has your back.

The Academy

Getting in is hard. What happens next is transformational.

TruPorch Academy is where talented Filipino professionals become elite remote operators. It is selective, it is demanding, and it is fully paid. Those who make it don't just get a job — they get a craft.

Graduates don't fill seats — they run the operating system that is TruPorch's competitive advantage. That's why admission is selective, and why the investment in you is real.

90 days, paid

A structured, milestone-based program. You earn while you learn, from day one — and never pay a cent to be trained by us.

3,000+ lessons

Our own proprietary LMS — thousands of training videos and resources, on demand.

Most are turned away

Admission is selective by design. We take few, and invest deeply in the ones we take.

Admissions

Getting in is the first test.

We turn away far more people than we take. Rather than ask you to trust that, here is the whole process — judge it yourself.

01

Apply

Free to start. No real-estate experience required, and no particular degree.

02

Assessment

A thorough skills assessment built to reveal how you think — not just what you already know. Most of the filtering happens here.

03

Selection

The hard part. Far more candidates are turned away here than move forward — which is the whole reason the training on the other side is worth having.

We would rather take fewer people and train them properly than hire in volume and hope. That is the whole reason the program is paid, and the whole reason it is this hard to enter.

Everyone who appliesSits the assessmentSelected
We do not publish an acceptance rate, but the shape is honest: the assessment does most of the filtering, and far more people are turned away than move forward. That is the whole reason the training on the other side is worth having.
Be honest with yourself

Who this isn't for.

  • If you want easy. Getting in is hard on purpose, and the training is harder than the job.
  • If you want to be told exactly what to do all day. You'll be given a standard and a coach, not a script.
  • If you're stacking three part-time gigs. This is one job, done properly.
  • If you don't want feedback. You'll get a lot of it, directly, every week.
  • If you want to coast after day 91. Base Camp is where the climb starts, not where it ends.

If you don't make it.

Most applicants don't. That outcome is about this moment and this process — it is not a verdict on what you're capable of. Plenty of capable people are turned away because the fit was wrong, not because they were.

None of the above is a character flaw either. It's a mismatch, and finding out now saves us both the time.

The 90-day metamorphosis

From caterpillar to butterfly.

Three phases, three milestone gates, one complete transformation — coached every step of the way. Here's what the climb actually looks like.

Days 1–30

Caterpillar

Consume.

The firehose opens — and you're paid from your very first day of it. You immerse in the TruPorch operating system: our tools, our standards, the way we communicate and the way we think. Mornings, you're in the Academy — 3,000+ lessons on demand, at your own pace. Afternoons, you put it to work with a coach beside you. And you never start alone: your cohort begins the same day you do.

The rhythm
  • Structured learning paths in our proprietary LMS
  • Daily hands-on coaching from a senior lead
  • First reps on real tools — with the guardrails on
  • Your cohort's channel, and your first monthly social
By day 30
  • Our systems feel familiar, not foreign
  • Our communication standard is your reflex
  • The habits every great operator runs on are forming
Milestone gate

Milestone review one — show the fundamentals stuck. It's Socratic: your coach doesn't quiz you, they ask why until your reasoning holds.

Days 31–60

Cocoon

Transform.

The formative middle — and the hardest stretch. This is where memorizers stall and thinkers accelerate. You spend your days in the sandbox: real scenarios where mistakes cost nothing and teach everything. You shadow senior team leads on live operations and watch how the best handle the unpredictable. Coaching turns Socratic — fewer answers, better questions — until you stop following steps and start reasoning like an operator.

The rhythm
  • Sandbox reps on real scenarios, safe to fail
  • Shadowing senior team leads on live work
  • AI tools woven into how you work, not bolted on
  • Weekly feedback that pulls no punches — and always shows the way through
By day 60
  • You handle situations no script covers
  • You can defend your decisions, not just describe them
  • You think — you don't recite
Milestone gate

Milestone review two — judgment, not memory. The question is no longer what you know; it's how you think.

Days 61–90

Butterfly

Take flight.

You emerge. Real work, end to end, with a safety net that steps back a little further each week. Your coach shifts from teacher to sounding board; your cohort becomes your council. By the final week you're not practicing our standard — you're setting it.

The rhythm
  • Own real responsibility, end to end
  • Coaching on demand instead of by default
  • Final-mile polish: speed, precision, judgment under pressure
By day 90
  • You operate at the standard our team is known for
  • You're matched with the team you'll grow with
  • You graduate Base Camp — and keep climbing
Milestone gate

The final review — everything, together, at full speed. Pass it, and Day 91 is graduation day.

Day 91

Welcome to Base Camp.

Graduation isn't the summit — it's the base of the mountain. You're matched with your team, your cohort celebrates beside you, and the real climb begins: specialized roles, senior operations, leadership. And the Academy never really leaves you — the 3,000-lesson library and your coaches stay with you for the whole ascent.

Graduating is not the destination. Ninety days gets you to the point where the real ascent starts — which is why we invest so heavily in training people we expect to be here for years.
A day in the first 30

What a training day actually looks like.

Morning — the Academy

You're in the curriculum at your own pace: the lesson, then the reasoning underneath it. Nobody is watching a timer.

Midday — the handoff

You bring what you learned to your coach, and they ask you to apply it to something real from that week.

Afternoon — reps

First attempts on real tools with the guardrails on. You will get things wrong. That is the design, not a failure of it.

Before you log off — the loop

Feedback on what you actually did, specific enough to act on tomorrow rather than vague enough to feel nice.

Throughout — your cohort

A channel full of people going through the exact same week you are, who started the exact same day.

Ready for Day 1?

Paid from day one. You never pay us anything — ever.

How we teach

Learn to think, not to recite.

We don't hand you scripts to memorize. We teach you to reason — with a method that's centuries old and tools built for right now.

The Socratic method

We teach by asking, not telling. You're challenged to reason through problems and defend your thinking — so you learn to think, not to memorize and recite.

AI-native

You learn to use AI tools on the job — the leverage that separates good operators from great ones in the 2020s.

3,000+ lessons on demand

Our proprietary LMS puts thousands of training videos and resources at your fingertips — learn anything, anytime, and revisit it whenever you need.

Skills for the 2020s

You graduate with durable life and career skills — judgment, communication, and modern tools — not just task instructions.

The curriculum

What's actually in 3,000 lessons.

A number on its own means nothing. Here is what the library covers.

The operating system

TruPorch Business Systems — Lean and Six Sigma applied to housing. How work gets documented, measured, and improved here.

Communication

The standard every message leaving this company has to meet: clear, warm, correct. Including the hard ones — the complaint, the bad news, the mistake that was ours.

The property lifecycle

How a home moves from listing to lease to turn and back again — what each step costs, and what breaks it.

Hospitality

What a four-star standard actually means in practice, and how a guest experience is produced rather than hoped for.

Systems and data

The tools the operation runs on, and how to keep numbers true enough that someone can safely make a decision on them.

AI as leverage

Using modern tools on real work — the difference between a good operator and a great one in this decade.

You don't finish the library in 90 days. Nobody does. It stays with you for the whole climb. See the operating system it teaches →

How we build you

Trained by people who've done the job.

Hands-on coaching

One-on-one time with senior leads who have done the job. Real feedback, every week — not a manual and a wave goodbye.

Sandboxing

Practice on real scenarios in a safe space. Make your mistakes where they cost nothing, and learn ten times faster for it.

Shadowing

Work alongside senior team leads on live operations. Watch how the best do it — then do it yourself, with support.

Life in the cohort

You don't climb alone.

The Academy is hard — but you never face it by yourself. You move through it with your cohort: a class of people who start when you start, learn what you learn, and become the people you celebrate with.

Your cohort class

See for yourself

Don't take our word for it.

You are about to trust a company on the other side of the world with your career. Watch the team first.

Before you apply

How to tell this is real.

Remote work is full of scams, and you are right to be careful — including about us. So here is exactly how to check, and what we will never do.

We never charge a fee

Not for the application. Not for the training. Not for equipment. Not ever. Any request for a processing, placement, or training fee is a scam.

We never ask for payment details

No bank details to verify you, no gift cards, no crypto, no e-wallet transfers. There is no stage of our process where you send anyone money.

One official portal

Applications happen on our hiring portal, linked from this page. If an offer reaches you from anywhere else, or from a personal account, it is not us.

We won't rush you

Nobody legitimate needs your decision within the hour. Pressure to accept immediately is the oldest sign of a fake offer.

You can check us

TruPorch Homes is a real company in Atlanta, Georgia — a licensed real estate broker with a physical office and the website you are reading right now.

If someone claiming to be TruPorch asks you for money, they are not us. Tell us at info@truporchhomes.com so we can warn other applicants.

Questions

The things you're actually wondering.

Is it really free to apply?

Yes. Applying costs nothing and we never charge a fee at any stage. If anyone claiming to be TruPorch asks you for money, they are not us — tell us at info@truporchhomes.com.

Is the training actually paid?

Yes, from your first day. You are paid while you learn, and you never pay us anything.

Do I need real-estate experience or a specific degree?

No, and no. Most of our operators arrived with neither. What we cannot teach quickly is judgment, ownership, and clear written English.

What are the milestone reviews for?

To find out what hasn't landed yet, while there's still time to fix it. They're Socratic — your coach asks why until your reasoning holds up. You'll know where you stand well before you reach a gate, because that's the point of weekly coaching.

What happens on day 91?

You're matched with the team you'll grow with, and the real climb begins. The library and your coaches stay with you — the Academy doesn't end, it just stops being your whole day.

Is this a call-center job?

No. You are not reading a script off a screen with a timer running. You own part of how a real company operates, and you're expected to improve it.

What if I'm not selected?

Most applicants aren't. It's about this moment and this process — not a verdict on your ceiling. Plenty of capable people are turned away because the fit was wrong, not because they were.
